A partner in Alexander Dubose & Jefferson’s (ADJ) San Antonio office, Paul W. Green is an established name with a long history in the Texas legal community. His career spans more than 40 years and includes time on the bench as a member of Texas’ highest court. Former Justice Green was elected to the Texas Supreme Court in 2004 where he served until retiring in August of 2020. During his 15-year tenure, he authored 99 majority opinions along with several concurrences and dissents in some of the most important cases in the state. Before that, he served for 10 years as a judge on the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio. Those who have worked with him or have followed his career know Justice Green to be straightforward and fair. As an attorney, his clients trust him to give the counsel necessary to bring their matters to a swift and favorable resolution. Justice Green’s judicial experience makes him uniquely qualified to assist clients with cases at trial and on appeal. He also holds a wealth of knowledge and insights on matters involving complex torts, insurance, and tax law. Outside of the courtroom, Justice Green has established himself as a leader in the local, state, and national legal communities. He has served as president of the San Antonio Bar Association, director of the State Bar of Texas, and a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association.
