Before becoming an attorney, Anna Baker put her MBA to good use as an investment system analyst with ExxonMobil. It was her love for writing and research, however, that eventually led her to law school. After beginning her career in litigation, she quickly found herself gravitating to writing briefs. Anna’s knowledge of business coupled with a litigation mindset delivered a potent mix when applied to appellate law .
Through the course of her career, she has been able to feed her passion for finding creative, effective arguments, and drilling down into an issue to find the crux of the case. In doing so, she gathers the reason and background for the law and the history of previous cases in order to craft persuasive briefs.
This thorough nature has made her an exceptional advocate for her clients. Anna has prepared trial and appellate briefs on topics including trusts and estates, trade secrets, breach of contract, business torts, professional malpractice, insurance coverage, municipal law, constitutional law, and administrative law.
